Best examples are Kale, Savoy cabbage, watercress and spinach. And they don't have to be bland. The key to cooking them all well is minimal water and minimum time so they're still a good bright green, they only really need heating- not cooking.
And yes, you do sound rather bitter about the rubbish prizes dished out for the 5k and the points handicap against the other club. You learn so much more from the failures than you do from the successes and, once you've solved the problems, when you go back and do the race right it's *such* a great feeling.

It's a cliche to say that you should learn from failure but you clearly are and you'll be a better runner for it.

(And to manage 3:25 on a bad race is an almighty achievement which you should be proud of!)Edward Sargissonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10877743034057800948noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5473521951541030057.post-83324909053948710192009-07-31T12:00:05.224-07:002009-07-31T12:00:05.224-07:00Bona fide medical opinion: when dehydrated, ANY fl...Bona fide medical opinion: when dehydrated, ANY fluid is better than none!
